Building the
Volleyball World

We want to see volleyball grow. We believe a game like Setter can contribute by giving people another way to discover the sport, understand its depth and build a connection with its clubs and competitions.

A management game creates space for that connection to develop. Following a club through several seasons means spending time with its players, learning what makes the team work and becoming invested in its results. A name that was unfamiliar at the start can gradually become a reason to look up a real match.

That possibility matters to us.

Someone might start a career with a club they have never watched, become curious about its league and begin following its results outside the game. An existing fan might discover a competition in another country. A newcomer might gain a better understanding of the decisions behind a lineup and see the next live match differently.

These are the kinds of experiences we hope Setter can encourage. We cannot promise that a game will turn every player into a supporter, but we believe it can create opportunities for discovery that last beyond a gaming session.

Working with the sport is central to that ambition.

Real clubs bring their own identities, histories and communities. Real competitions give a season context. For supporters, recognising a familiar team can make the experience feel personal from the beginning. For everyone else, it offers an introduction to a part of volleyball they may never have encountered.

That is why we want to build Setter with official licences and develop relationships with the organisations behind the sport.

These agreements are an important step towards building an authentic volleyball world. They give us a foundation to work from as we continue developing the game and its content.

We are also in contact with organisations in many other countries, discussing opportunities to bring more of the volleyball world into Setter. Those conversations are ongoing. We will share further announcements as agreements are confirmed.

Building that world takes cooperation. Each competition has its own structure, and each partnership requires a clear understanding of what can be included and how it should be represented. Our approach is to develop those relationships step by step and build on what has been agreed.

We want that cooperation to bring value to the sport as well as to the game.

For a club or league, appearing in Setter could introduce its identity to people who would otherwise never encounter it. A supporter on the other side of the world might discover a team through a career in the game. A familiar competition could reach an audience that already enjoys management games but knows little about volleyball.

That is the opportunity we see: giving the sport another place to be discovered, followed and enjoyed.

Authenticity also depends on how the game represents volleyball. The decisions, the rhythm of a match and the challenge of building a balanced squad all contribute to whether the experience feels connected to the sport. Official content and a convincing management experience need to support each other.

Our ambition is to build something that volleyball people recognise and that newcomers can become curious about. A game that makes an unfamiliar club worth following, a different league worth exploring or the next match worth watching.

Belgium and Spain are part of that beginning. We look forward to sharing the next steps as more conversations become partnerships and the world of Setter grows.
